Two Events

# 1 The Sedgewood Club is hosting a Kent Candidates’ Forum in their Boathouse next Sunday, October 3, from 3  to 5 pm, that is open to all Kent residents. Located on China Pond at 1024 Barrett Circle West, the Boathouse is at the top of Kittredge Dr., which exits Route 301, just south of Clearpool Rd. in Western Kent. Candidates from both parties for Kent Town Supervisor, Kent Town Board (2 seats), Kent Town Justices, and Putnam County Sheriff have been invited and are expected to attend.

# 2 You are invited to a gathering on the back lawn/patio of the home of Carol Rosenthal and Franklin Schneier, 40 Old Forge Road, on Lake Sagamore to benefit the Kent Democratic Committee on Sunday, October 10, from 3 to 5 pm.

If you have attended these events before, you know there will be lively discussion, inspiring candidates* and a chance to bond with neighbors for the common good.

* Candidates expected to attend are Kathy Kahng for Kent Town Supervisor, Anne Campbell and Simon Carey for Town Board, Andy Wells for Town Justice and Sheriff Robert Langley, running for re-election.

Please rsvp your acceptance to KentNYDemocrats@gmail.com.

While suggested donation levels are $25, $50, $75, $100 or more, it is most important that all feel comfortable attending. Feel free to donate as you are able.

If you cannot attend, but want to support the Kent Democratic Committee efforts in outreach and voter turnout, donations can be made using the Donate button above.

Fall 2021

For safety and fun, we’re keeping our events small and, wherever possible, outdoors this year. But our candidates are big big on ideas, experience and commitment to serve. You can meet them at Team Kent.

Our September Supper/Cookout will be an online experience this year (with a date to be announced) – more fun, less food.

If you haven’t already, send your email to KentNYDemocrats@gmail.com so that we can keep you informed of Kent happenings leading to electoral success on November 2.
