Scholarship Dinner at McCarthy’s on Friday, March 29, 2019.

To celebrate the end of petitioning and raise scholarship funds for a CHS senior, the Kent Democratic Committee invites everyone to join us at McCarthy’s Restaurant (374 Route 52) on Friday, March 29, at 6:30 pm.

For $30 a head (or more, if you can), you’ll have a full meal with friends and help underwrite the scholarship we will award next month to a graduating Carmel/Kent student.

Over dessert New Paltz Professor (and Kent Town Board Candidate) Anne Campbell will speak on the challenges facing young people today and Brewster High School alumnus (2009) Joseph Beahm will share his experiences on working with Michelle Obama on her current book tour.

Gather at 6:30, dinner at 7, and talks over dessert.

Celebrate the time change with brunch.

On Sunday, March 10, from 11am to 1pm, celebrate the first hours of DAYLIGHT SAVINGS SAVINGS TIME with a really good BRUNCH at the home of Michele Berdy and Drew Howland, 1408 Peekskill Hollow Road.

You’ll be with neighbors, friends and future candidates.

Since it is a fund raiser for the Kent Democrats, the suggested contribution is $35 a person or $60 per couple, but gifts of any amount are appreciated.
